On 7 September 2022, Ambassador Okamura held a ceremony to award Mr. Atsushige Murakami, Chef for Ambassador of the Permanent Delegation of Japan to the OECD, with the Foreign Minister’s Commendation.
Mr. Murakami worked and contributed greatly as Chef not only for our Ambassador, but also for Japanese Ambassadors to Thailand, Italy and India, Consul General of Japan in San Francisco and Ambassador of the Permanent Mission of Japan to the United Nations.
Mr. Murakami was awarded for his outstanding and long term achievements.
