Ambassador Shimmi presented the letter of credentials to the OECD

On 16 December, Mr SHIMMI Jun, the new Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to the OECD, presented the letter of credentials from Mr HAYASHI Yoshimasa, Minister for Foreign Affairs, to Mr Mathias CORMANN, the Secretary-General of the OECD.
On this occasion, Ambassador Shimmi stressed the importance of cooperating with the OECD in a wide range of areas, including free trade, climate change and economic security. The two agreed on further strengthening the relationship between Japan and the OECD.
