Publication of OECD Report on Traceability in Critical Mineral Supply Chains

　As a follow-up to the G7 Leaders’ Declaration on Critical Minerals adopted at the G7 Summit in Évian, the OECD has published Enhancing Resilience Through Traceability, supported by a contribution from the Government of Japan.

　Against the backdrop of rising demand for lithium and nickel, the report examines how traceability can help companies and governments identify risks in supply chains, access investment, and build more resilient supply chains, while promoting responsible mineral sourcing.

　Japan will continue to translate G7 commitments into concrete action and contribute to building resilient and sustainable critical mineral supply chains.
