Attendance at the signing ceremony of a Memorandum of Understanding between the OECD and the United Nations University by the Chargé d'affaires MASAMOTO Kenichi

On March 26th, commencing at 3:45 p.m., Mr. Mathias Cormann, Secretary-General of the OECD and Prof. Tshilidzi Marwala, Rector of the United Nations University (UNU) signed a Memorandum of Understanding between the OECD and the UNU at the OECD Headquarters. From OECD Members, Minister MASAMOTO Kenichi, Chargé d'Affaires of the Permanent delegation of Japan to the OECD, attended the ceremony.
The Permanent Mission of Japan to the OECD recognizes and highly values the signing of this MOU as a significantly meaningful step in advancing cooperation between the two organizations, which have great expertise in contributing to the international community.
Japan will continue to actively contribute to future cooperation between the UNU, which has its headquarters in Tokyo, and the OECD.
